| What is an entry permit? |
|
An entry permit is a permit issued by the Immigration Division to allow visitors into the country to undertake employment. A bona-fide visitor who enters for the purpose of vacations, business meetings, seeking investment opportunities, conferences, exhibitions and sports activities is exempt from requiring an entry permit for a stay of not more than 31 days. At the point of entry Immigration Officers will issue the entry permit exempt stamp to visitors entering the Cook Islands. An extension of stay beyond 31 days is only available to those undertaking holidays and recreation.
