The role of Immigration is to ensure our borders are protected at points of entry by effectively screening visitors to the Cook Islands and to facilitate the movement of natural persons into and out of the country.
About Immigration

In the aftermath of the economic crisis, a decision was made in 1996 to amalgamate two separate entities, Foreign Affairs and Immigration, into one Ministry.  The Immigration section maintains and enforces the Immigration Act.
