is an ad-hoc committee composed of the heads of the following Pacific Island intergovernmental organisations, and permanently chaired by the Forum Secretariat. FFA was established to help countries sustainably manage their fishery resources that fall within their 200 mile Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZs). Fiji School of Medicine is one of the oldest educational institutions in the Pacific. Established in 1885 as the Suva Medical School (1885–1928), it was renamed to the Central Medical School (1929-1960) and finally changed to the Fiji School of Medicine in 1961.
